'Papel Picado' (cut-out paper) is one of Mexico's most traditional and festive crafts, used for all sorts of occasions such as Christmas, Easter, Day of the Dead, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and even corporate events. They mainly come as banners for hanging along the ceiling or walls, but can also be found as tablecloths, table-decorations, flowers, and even dresses!
Each strand is about 3m long and contains 10 multi-coloured banners with different designs.
Safety note: Paper is highly flammable, please be careful and keep away from candles.
